Through a comprehensive and ongoing needs assessment process, AMEE supplemented its background research by creating and disseminating a survey that was distributed to a global audience of CPD stakeholders that exceeded 12,000. The survey was divided into several domains and requested nominations of CPD experts who had the experience and knowledge to provide their expertise in developing, designing, and reviewing training materials. Additionally, AMEE sought topics that the global CPD community felt were relevant to include in this course.
